Immune Boosting Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon, juiced (plus rind of ½ lemon)

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 handful of thyme

  • 2-3cm ginger root, sliced

  • 2-3cm turmeric root, sliced

  • 1-2 teaspoon honey (manuka if you have it)

  • Optional: Garlic, cayenne pepper and other herbs

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, top with approximately 1 cup of filtered water and bring to a slow boil for a few minutes.

  2. Depending on how strong you make it, either drink on its own or mix with hot water.

    Tip: Add more water and boil again to make it go further if you wish (even just for the smell in the house!)
