What is a Nutrition Coach?

A nutrition coach brings a practical focus to nutrition and healthy eating. Depending on your goals, you might see Min in your kitchen educating on how to read product labels and providing product recommendations and recipe ideas, or helping prepare healthy meals for the week whilst sharing handy tips and information. To this end, nutrition coaching provides a nice complement to the services of a naturopath or GP by providing ongoing hands-on guidance between appointments. If you’re seeking support, knowledge, accountability and lasting change, then a nutrition coach is the right fit for you.

  • We recognise that everyone is at different stages on their health journey and will have unique individual needs. For this reason, we have a strong focus on providing personalised support tailored to suit you. We will work closely with you to understand your current lifestyle, challenges and aspirations and then develop a holistic achievable plan that supports your goals.

  • Knowing the reasons for making certain choices means there’s a lot more drive behind them. Why? Because otherwise we’re relying on willpower alone, and well, we don’t have much of that! With this in mind, our nutrition coaching sessions are aimed at empowering you with knowledge and building self-awareness about the impact of lifestyle choices on your overall health. The end goal is moving away from language like “Oh I shouldn’t eat that” to “My goodness, I’m not touching that with a ten-foot pole”. It’s possible, we’ve been there.

  • As a nutrition coach, we serve as your partner, cheerleader and accountability buddy. We assist you in setting realistic, achievable goals and breaking them down into actionable steps. We help you identify and overcome limiting beliefs and provide the motivation and encouragement you need throughout your journey. And to keep you on track towards your goals, we regularly check in on your progress and troubleshoot if needed. With Min as your nutrition coach, you gain a valuable ally who is fully committed to your success and wellbeing.

  • Investment: $95

    Duration: 60 minutes

    In this initial consultation, Min will review your health status and discuss your goals. Based on this information, she'll provide personalised nutrition education, meal ideas, product recommendations, recipes, practical tips and more to support your long-term goals. Together, you'll create an achievable action plan designed to enhance your health and nutrition.

  • Investment: $75

    Duration: 45 minutes

    Managing your dietary habits and nutritional needs often requires ongoing support. In follow-up sessions, Min will ask about your progress and help troubleshoot if needed. She will educate you on new topics, offer additional resources, and provide strategies to help you stay on track towards your goals. Think of Min as your personal health cheerleader (without the lycra and cartwheels!) - encouraging and supportive in whatever way suits your preferences and lifestyle.

  • Investment: $180

    Duration: 120 minutes

    In a world of conflicting nutrition information, making healthy choices about food can often be confusing, and then there’s the other big C word - convenience! In this session, Min will take a look in your pantry and fridge and chat about how to make healthy food choices without compromising on convenience. This will include information on how to read product labels, what foods to avoid, what to look out for when buying fresh produce, product recommendations, recipe ideas and more.

  • Investment: $180

    Duration: 120 minutes

    Need some support with prepping healthy meals for the week? In these sessions, Min will work alongside you in the kitchen to make some quick and easy foods that not only maximise health, but also save you time and money. The exact recipes will depend on your individual needs and interests but can include various condiments like mayo and tomato sauce, spreads like peanut butter and ghee, sweet and savoury snacks or whole meals for the family. Recipes can be tailored to suit any dietary need or preference you may have.

    Duration: 6 weeks

    Our gut plays a crucial role in our overall health, and poor gut health can lead to various mental and physical conditions like anxiety, depression, digestive issues, allergies, and more. The good news…there's a solution! Through a GAPS gut healing program, we can heal and seal the gut lining, restore beneficial the flora, and reduce our toxic load, leading to remarkable improvements in health.

    This gut healing program includes:

    • 1 x initial health history consultation (1hr)

    • 5 x weekly check-in sessions (45mins)

    • Ongoing email support for the duration of the program

After almost a year of our son’s recurrent ear infections leading to multiple ear drum perforations, we were at breaking point. He had been on four doses of antibiotics over the year and had just been prescribed a six course dose as a preventative measure for future infections while I waited for an operation to get him grommets. My instincts told me that I didn’t want to do another course of antibiotics and so I met with Min to find some more information about holistic treatments for the infections. From the first appointment, Min’s professional, understanding and calm approach as well as her knowledge about all things health related was the light at the end of our tunnel. She delved deep into our son’s health history, diet and lifestyle and made the important link no other person has done between his egg allergy and the infections. Under guidance from Min, we decided to do the GAPS program to heal his gut. We knew it was going to be a very challenging program to do with a toddler and required a lot of work, however once Min had opened our eyes to how his gut could affect his health long term, there was no turning back. We bunkered in and followed the program explicitly. It really was one of the most difficult months we have ever had in terms of managing the “die off” response, the amount of home cooking and prep needed, the cravings and a very confused toddler. However, we just took it day by day and it only took a little while for his habits to shift and for him to ask for different foods. We are now seven months later and it has completely changed our life. My son hasn’t had another ear infection since, even though he has had a few illnesses with blocked noses (which previously would have 100% perforated his ear drums)! Without a doubt, doing the program is the reason for this. While we are no longer doing the diet, we still follow many of the principles from the program and try to be flexible with eating out. I believe the knowledge I gained from doing it has also set me up for success when introducing foods to my second baby and managing my children’s health in more of a holistic way going forward. While GAPS is not for the faint hearted, I would do it a thousand times over if I knew the impact it would have on my family’s health. I am so grateful to have had Min to support me through the journey.
