Baked Beans
Ingredients:
1 onion, diced
3 garlic gloves, peeled and crushed
1 tablespoon olive oil
150g ham or sausage, diced
400g tinned tomato
3/4 cup water
4 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
Pinch of pepper
800g cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
Method:
Heat oil in a saucepan and cook onion and garlic for about 3 mins until soft.
Add remaining ingredients (except beans) and cook on low for 15 mins.
Add beans and cook for a further 3 mins.
