Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Optional: 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Method:

  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas and pat them dry with a tea towel or paper towel.

  2. Place chickpeas on a lined baking tray and drizzle with oil and spices (if using). Mix well to coat.  

  3. Arrange chickpeas in a single layer and place baking tray in the oven.

  4. Bake for about 40-50 minutes at 200C (stirring every 15 minutes) or until chickpeas are dry and crispy to touch.
