Nice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups banana, frozen (about 2-3 bananas)

  • 1-2 tablespoon milk (any milk works)

Method:

  1. Place the frozen banana and 1 tablespoon of milk in a blender.

  2. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, stopping to scrape the sides as needed.

  3. If the blender is having a hard time blending the banana, add more milk by the tablespoon.

  4. Serve immediately (as a thick smoothie or soft serve) or freeze in a container for 1-2 hours to harden

Variations:

  • Berry: 1 cup frozen mixed berries

  • Strawberry Coconut: 1 cup frozen strawberries + 2 tbsp shredded coconut

  • Chocolate: 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • Peanut Butter: 2-3 tbsp peanut butter or other nut butter

  • Salted Caramel: 4-6 dates (soaked) + pinch sea salt

  • Vanilla: 1 tsp vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean

  • Green Dream: 1 tsp spirulina + 1-2 tsp matcha

  • Choc Mint: 1 tbsp cacao powder + 1 tbsp mint

  • Choc Tahini: 2 tbsp tahini + 3 tbsp cacao powder

  • Mango Macadamia: 1 cup mango + 5-6 macadamia nuts, chopped (added after blending)

Toppings:

  • Fresh fruit, cacao nibs, nut butter, shredded coconut, seeds, chocolate drizzle (see homemade chocolate recipe).
